Jurors, Liz Maugans and Matthew Dibble, based the acceptance criteria on (among other things): “Is the artist accomplished in the chosen media?”, “What does this work ‘say’?”, “Is it innovative?”, “How does the submitted work compare to other submissions of the same media, genre, etc.?”.
The exhibit runs through July 29, 2013.
The exhibit was so well received that selected works from it will be on display again at the gallery in June. Says Busta, “I’m impressed by the heart and the intelligence of this work.” Read the full statement
